This year, I have celebrated Valentine’s day in PINK with my some exciting new purchases! First and top on the list, Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Diffused Light, the best setting powder I have ever tried as it mattifies the complexion as well as leaving a beautiful glow. A massive change from most powders that just set in fine lines and end up looking cakey.

My newest discovery, the Essence Blush Brush is an amazing all-rounder, but I particularly enjoy using it with extremely high pigmented blushers to be worn as a contour to accentuate the look of cheekbones. Its long synthetic bristles make it so soft and an excellent blending tool! How could I possibly mention blending and the color pink without recommending my Beauty Blender, the most raved-about sponge in the beauty world. Despite the few difficulties to clean them thoroughly, they are the best foundation applicators for an airbrushed effect.

Being one to stick to the same mascaras, this new discovery proved me wrong… The L’Oreal Miss Manga Mascara has a bendy brush to to follow the lashes shape perfectly. I know some people have not got along with it, but being blessed with extremely long, curly and unfortunately, fine lashes, this provided exactly the amount of volume and curl my lashes needed, especially with my nude eye looks.

At last but not least, the cutest packaging for a lip balm: the Eos Pomegranate lip balm :)
